MICS is a 5-day long seminar that will take place mostly at the prestigious Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya (IDC). Herzliya is a beachside, vibrant town, the epicenter of nightlife and gastronomic culture, situated about 10 minutes from Tel-Aviv. Herzliya is diverse, multicultural and the town chosen by most ambassadors as their home.


THE INTERDISCIPLINARY CENTER HERZLIYA
The Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya, was founded in 1994 by renowned Israeli scholar Prof. Uriel Reichman. Modeled after Ivy League schools in the United States, IDC Herzliya is a private, non-profit entity which takes no government subsidies, allowing for full academic freedom. The Center is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in research and education while aiming to create an Israeli university where personal achievement goes hand-in-hand with social responsibility.
IDC's staff consists of lecturers who studied in some of the best schools around the world and Israel. Their goal is to train Israel’s leaders of the future, as well as nurture a business, political, technological and judicial leadership of the highest caliber.
IDC Herzliya's student body consists of some 5,200 Bachelor & Master degree students who study at the Center's seven internationally recognized schools: the Radzyner School of Law; the Arison School of Business, the Efi Arazi School of Computer Science, the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy, the Sammy Ofer School of Communications, the New School of Psychology and the Raphael Recanati International School (RRIS). IDC Herzliya is also home to some ten research centers.
The RRIS is Israel's only academic institution which teaches a complete, fully accredited B.A degree program, taught exclusively in English. The school is comprised of a 1,200 strong student body from over 60 countries with programs in Business, Government, Computer Science, Communications and Psychology. The RRIS also offers advanced all-English degrees; MBA in International Management, MBA in Entrepreneurship and MA in Government. International students get the opportunity to get to know the country, its people, culture, sites and landscapes in a series of trips and events which are designed to be both educational and fun.
